The consequences of the Russian attack on the morning of December 25 are being eliminated in Dnipro.
On Wednesday, December 25, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Dnipro. As a result of the attack, an administrative building and residential buildings were damaged. One person was also killed. Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov spoke about the current situation in the city after the shelling.
Filatov noted that after the morning attack in the Dnipro, there are still some problems with the heat supply of the left-bank part of the city. But gas, water and electricity are being supplied.
“Regarding the “Sonyachny” housing estate, I hope that it will not be left without heat supply. Because we systematically and in advance prepared for different scenarios.
All possible services and necessary specialists are also already working on the “Prydniprovsk” housing estate,” the message says.
Currently, about 65 houses are still without heat.
“We also strongly ask the energy workers not to disconnect the Prydniprovsk housing estate from electricity according to schedules. But, in any case, inviolability points will operate in schools 136, 108, 57, as well as BC “Energetik”, – the mayor wrote.
At the same time, Filatov reported that one of the city hospitals, where more than a hundred patients are located, will have to be evacuated again. They will be distributed to other medical institutions in Dnipropetrovsk.
In total, 300 windows have been broken in buildings across the city. 7 educational institutions have also been damaged.
“In Prydniprovsk, eight kindergartens will not be able to accept children due to the lack of heating. In Sonechne, we hope that kindergartens will be able to work.
Our schools are on standby, because it is vacation time,” the mayor added.
On the morning of December 25, a series of explosions were heard in Dnipro. The Russians attempted to destroy the region’s power system. As a result of the Russians attacking DTEK thermal power plants, the TPP equipment was seriously damaged. Because of this, power outage schedules were introduced in the Dnipropetrovsk region on December 25.
It was also reported that one person died as a result of the morning attack – he turned out to be a 51-year-old power engineer. In Dnipro, infrastructure and administrative buildings were damaged as a result of a missile strike. In Kamianske, residential buildings were also damaged due to the morning shelling. In addition, an explosion was heard again in Dnipro later. Dnipro Chairman Filatov commented on the missile attack on the Dnipro on December 25. Later it became known that in the morning the sky defenders shot down 42 missiles over the Dnipropetrovsk region.
