How many people died in Kyiv during the two years of the war

More than 1,300 civilians have died in Kyiv since the beginning of the war, including 11 children.

This was reported by the first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Mykola Povoroznyk.

These are civilian casualties during missile attacks and air strikes by Russians on the Ukrainian capital from 2022 to 2024. The number of people injured in two years is more than 1,750 residents, including 106 children.

According to Parovoznik, Kyiv residents have begun to take their own safety lightly and do not always go down to shelters during air raids.

“This leads to terrible consequences. Especially the latest tragedies, including the deaths of children, show that safety rules cannot be neglected,” the official emphasized.
