596 children have died, 1,727 have been injured and 1,937 have gone missing since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the website of the National Police of Ukraine reported on Sunday.
It is noted that 388 of the 19,500 children deported to the Russian Federation have been returned to Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, investigators of the National Police of Ukraine have initiated 138,348 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine by Russian troops and their accomplices. Of these, 122,553 – under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes), 9,318 – under Art. 110 of the Criminal Code (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine), 4 thousand 234 – under Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code (collaborative activities), 270 – under Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (high treason).
