The Russian army shelled Kherson on the morning of January 1. A 23-year-old man died as a result of the attack. The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this: “On January 1, 2025, at about 10:30 a.m., servicemen of the Russian army launched an artillery strike on the Dnipro district of Kherson. A 23-year-old man who was on the street died as a result of the shelling.”
Two women, aged 49 and 76, were also injured as a result of the Russian shelling.
According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Alexander Prokudin, on December 31, the Russian military struck critical and social infrastructure, residential areas of settlements in the region.
Five people were injured as a result of the Russian aggression, including one child.
“The Russians damaged five high-rise buildings and 32 private houses. They also damaged a cell tower, an outbuilding, a garage and a bus,” Prokudin added.
