Russians attack Kherson region: three police officers among casualties

On January 7, Russian troops attacked Kherson region using artillery, mortars and drones. The shelling killed two people and injured 19, including three police officers.

In Kherson region, two people were killed and 19 were injured during the day due to Russian shelling, including three police officers.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Russian military hit a police vehicle near Komyshany with an FPV drone. As a result of the attack, two Kherson police officers received concussions. The vehicle suffered significant damage.

A 35-year-old Kherson police officer was injured near Naddnipryanske when an explosive device was dropped from a drone.

The Russians attacked settlements in Kherson, Berislav and Kakhovka districts with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems and UAVs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
