On January 8, Russian troops shelled the Kherson region, attacking residential areas and civilian infrastructure in over 40 settlements, including the city of Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin.
As a result of the shelling, two high-rise buildings, four private houses, an outbuilding, agricultural machinery and several private cars were damaged.
Three people died in the attacks, ten more were injured.
According to updated information, it became known about the death of a resident of Beryslav due to a Russian attack on January 8. In the evening, the Russians struck the city with a UAV. A 27-year-old man received injuries incompatible with life due to the dropping of explosives from a drone.
