A 54-year-old woman died in Nikopol due to Russian shelling with MLRS

Late in the evening of January 15, the Russian army shelled Nikopol with a multiple launch rocket system. A 54-year-old woman died. Her body was recovered from the rubble of a house by rescuers.

A 45-year-old man was injured as a result of the Russian attack. He was given medical care. He will be treated as an outpatient.

The house and outbuilding were destroyed. There is also damaged housing – private and high-rise buildings. Garages and cars were damaged. Gas pipelines and power lines were affected.

There were two fires that rescuers extinguished.
