Sumy region: since the beginning of the year – 800 uses of FPV drones and UAVs with fragmentation grenades

This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Volodymyr Artyukh.

The head of the region noted that the objects of destruction in the Sumy region are energy systems (more than 50 such objects were damaged) and private houses (more than 255 houses were destroyed and damaged).

“Today, the main weapon used by the Russians against the population of the Sumy region is FPV drones, UAVs with grenades,” said Volodymyr Artyukh. “Literally yesterday we had such attacks by FPV drones using fiber optics, which are not suppressed by electronic warfare and are very difficult to shoot down by our defenders.”

Since the beginning of the year, 800 uses of FPV drones and UAVs with fragmentation grenades have been recorded in the Sumy region.
