In Kherson, where search and rescue operations are ongoing after a Russian guided air bomb hit a ten-story building at night on February 19, the body of a dead man was found, the head of the city’s military administration, Roman Mrochko, reported on February 20.
“We are pulling out a dead man from under the rubble. We understand that a woman, a mother of two children, is still under the rubble,” the official said.
Earlier, authorities reported six victims, including two children, twins, a boy and a girl aged 14.
According to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, 15 apartments were destroyed by the impact – from the first to the tenth floors of one of the entrances. In addition, windows were broken in 80 homes.
