Rescuers found the body of a woman under the rubble of a high-rise building in Kherson, which was hit by a Russian guided air bomb on the evening of February 19. This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
He explained that the discovered woman is the mother of twins who were injured as a result of the Russian shelling. Employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are currently trying to unblock her body.
As Prokudin noted, this woman is the last missing person after the Russian airstrike on the city.
Rescuers found the body of the deceased on the first floor, the press service of the State Emergency Service reported.
The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, informed that her twin children – a boy and a girl – were pulled out of the rubble of this high-rise building the day before.
“They have mine-explosive injuries and acute stress reactions. The children are in the hospital under medical supervision,” the official said.
In total, two people died and five more were injured as a result of the Russian airstrike on a high-rise building in Kherson, the State Emergency Service said.
