A famous surgeon and his wife, a TV presenter, died in a “Shahed” strike near Kyiv

“A second body was found at the scene of the tragedy. The remains of the deceased will be tested for DNA, because it is impossible to identify them. Rescuers say that they found the bodies of a man and a woman – a married couple who lived here. Neighbors say that when the “Shahed” flew here at night, they ran to save them. But the drone flew into the bedroom, where the couple was probably. A famous surgeon lived in this house, as well as our colleague, a TV presenter,” says Inna Bodnar.

Neighbors say that they tried to save people, but the fire spread quickly.

“The blow was right in the bedroom, because the fire was coming from there,” says the couple’s neighbor.

Their colleague, author and host of the “Nation of the Invincible” project, Tetyana Kulyk, died during the drone attack. Previously, she worked as the editor-in-chief of the editorial office of social and journalistic programs and the host of the “Central Channel” (KDTRK), the World Radio Broadcasting Service of Ukraine, and a TV host of the Public Broadcasting Service. The second deceased is Tetyana Kulyk’s husband – Pavlo Ivanchov, who worked as the head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 of the Bogomolets National Medical University. He was engaged in surgery of tumor origin. He was a doctor of medical and economic sciences, a professor.
