March 2 in Kherson region: five people killed and 13 injured, three police officers among the injured

On March 2, Russian troops once again shelled the right bank of the Kherson region with multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars and UAVs. Kherson, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Sadovoe, Belozerka, Inzhenerne, Beryslav, Zmiivka, Novoberyslav, Mykhailivka, Gavrylivka, Novoraysk and Kozatske of the Kakhovka district were under enemy fire.

It became known about the death of a 63-year-old resident of Kozatske, who was seriously injured on March 1 after being dropped from an enemy UAV. The evacuation of the body of the deceased in an armored vehicle was carried out by police officers. On a field road, a Russian FPV drone attacked a police car. Three police officers aged 30 to 39 were injured in the attack. The vehicle was damaged.

A 65-year-old woman who was seriously injured in a Russian drone strike in Antonivka on March 1 died in a medical facility. Russian troops fired multiple rocket launchers at Antonivka.

Russian troops attacked a civilian car near Beryslav with an FPV drone. A 47-year-old woman was killed and a 52-year-old man was injured. He was hospitalized with explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusion, and shrapnel injuries to his limbs.

A private house in Mykhailivka was damaged by an explosive device dropped from a drone.

In the afternoon, a 53-year-old woman died in the Dnipro district of Kherson due to a cunning attack by a Russian FPV drone on a shuttle bus, and 10 more people received mine-explosive and craniocerebral injuries, contusions and shrapnel wounds to various parts of the body. On the morning of March 3, it became known that one of the victims, a 61-year-old passenger, died in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

At night, the Russians hit an apartment building with an “FPV” drone, fortunately, there were no casualties. As a result of artillery shelling of the district, a private house was damaged. Another house was damaged as a result of dropping ammunition from a UAV. The “Korabel” neighborhood also suffered from FPV drone attacks.
