The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported on the consequences of the attacks on the Kharkiv region

16 fires broke out in the Kharkiv region due to Russian shelling.

This was reported by the main department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

According to rescuers, in recent days, the State Emergency Service units have eliminated 16 fires that occurred as a result of Russian shelling in the Bogodukhov, Izyum, Kupyansky, Chuguyiv districts of the region and in the city of Kharkiv.

In Kharkiv on May 6, four people were injured as a result of a drone strike.

The fires engulfed a private house, a restaurant building, shops in the market, a kiosk, another building and cars – the total area of ​​​​the fire exceeded 1.7 thousand m².

In ​​the Kupyansk district, in the village of Starovirivka, a 16-year-old boy was injured as a result of shelling. An outbuilding and a destroyed teak caught fire.

On May 10, two people were injured in another strike in Kupyansk, residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.

On May 11, an air bomb hit the residential sector of the village of Sadovod. Two more people were injured, two two-story houses were partially destroyed, and a fire broke out.

Rescuers also unblocked the body of a deceased person from under the rubble of a destroyed house in Kupyansk.
