In Kharkiv region, one person died, eight others were injured due to Russian shelling

From May 21 to 22, the city of Kharkiv and seven settlements of the Kharkiv region were subjected to Russian strikes. One person died, eight others were injured.

This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, and the press service of the State Emergency Service of the Kharkiv region.

Thus, as a result of a missile strike on the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv, three women were injured – 60, 63, and 68 years old, they have an acute stress reaction. 10 private houses, a car, and gas and electricity networks were also damaged.

Last day, a man was killed and a 66-year-old and 70-year-old women were injured due to Russian air strikes in the village of Kupyansk-Vuzlovy, Kupyansk district.

In addition, a 39-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling in the village of Hrushivka, Kupyansk district, and a 73-year-old and 44-year-old woman were injured in the city of Kupyansk itself.

In total, 44 houses, an administrative building, a lyceum and a factory were damaged in the Kupyansk district over the past 24 hours.

In addition, an administrative building and a car were damaged in the Chuhuiv district.

According to the State Emergency Service, three fires caused by Russian shelling were recorded in the Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours – in the Chuhuiv and Kupyansk districts of the region.

Thus, in Kupyansk, a residential building, an outbuilding, a garage and a woodshed burned on a total area of ​​over 340 square meters. In the village of Stary Saltiv, Chuhuiv district, a fire broke out in an open area – grass and reeds burned on an area of ​​​​two hectares. Early in the morning of May 22, Russian strike UAVs attacked the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupyansky district. Hits were recorded in an administrative building, in which a fire broke out on an area of ​​100 square meters as a result of the explosion. It is noted that no civilians were injured.

The regional military administration specified that over the past day, Russian troops used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region: one missile; 10 guided aerial bombs; five unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed” type; two UAVs of the “Geran-2” type; two UAVs of the “Molniya” type.
