Deaths, destruction in 6 districts and problems with the metro: all about the consequences of the Russian attack on Kyiv

On the night of June 6, the Russian Federation attacked Kyiv with “Shakheds” and ballistics. As of the morning, there are deaths in the city, destruction has been recorded in six districts, and the red metro line is operating only on the right bank.

According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, fires have been recorded in high-rise buildings, at a gas station, in non-residential premises and in an open area.

Solomyanskyі district – fire on the 11th floor of a 16-story building.

Darnytskyі district – falling debris in three locations, two cars damaged.

Holosiivskyi district – fire at a civil infrastructure facility, damaged educational institution, falling debris near a gas station.

Desnyanskyi district – drone debris in an open area.

Shevchenkivskyi district – fire in a non-residential development zone.

Dniprovskyi district – significant damage to gas stations.

As reported by the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, the attack killed 4 people and injured 20 more.

As a result of the combined attack on Kyiv, tracks and cables on the metro section between the stations “Darnytsia” – “Livoberezhna” of the red metro line were damaged.

In the Kyiv region, private houses and outbuildings were damaged as a result of the night attack

On the night of June 6, the Russian army once again attacked the Kyiv region using missiles and UAVs. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnik.

As of now, the consequences are recorded in 3 districts of the region.

In Buchanan, Brovar, and Boryspil districts, private houses and outbuildings were damaged. Their windows were broken, their roofs were damaged.

There were no reports of casualties.
