Russian army attacks Kharkiv with drone strikes: Two dead, 54 injured

Two people were killed and at least 54 injured in Kharkiv as a result of a massive Russian attack with Shahed drones.

Igor Terekhov, the chairman of the Kharkov regional government, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

According to him, on June 11, from 00:31 to 00:40, the Russian army launched 17 strikes with Shahed drones on the Slobidsky and Osnovyansky districts of Kharkiv

“There are direct hits on multi-storey buildings, private homes, playgrounds, enterprises and public transport. Burning apartments, destroyed roofs, burnt-out cars, broken windows,” the mayor emphasized.

At the moment, 54 injured are known, five of whom are children. Two people died.

“Trolleybuses, the contact network, utility and industrial facilities were damaged. All of these are ordinary objects of peaceful life. Those that should never become targets. Utility and emergency services, volunteers are working non-stop – eliminating the consequences, helping the victims, restoring gas, electricity and water supplies. We are holding on. We are helping each other. And we will definitely survive. Kharkiv is Ukraine. And it cannot be broken,” Terekhov concluded.
