In Odessa, 17 people were injured in a night attack on June 17, an inclusive center was damaged

On June 17, the Russian Armed Forces massively attacked Odessa with strike drones. It is already known that 17 people were injured as a result of the attack.

Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the Russian night attack on Odessa, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.

“Residential buildings, the building of the inclusive center, cars were damaged. There were fires. Currently, 17 victims are known. People may still be under the rubble,” the rescuers noted.

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police are working at the scene. Work is ongoing.

At around 04:30 on June 17, the Air Force of Ukraine warned about the movement of strike drones from the Black Sea in the direction of Odessa. Civilian infrastructure in Odessa was under attack – fires broke out in the city, the authorities reported on the destruction and victims. The Russians attacked, in particular, residential buildings and educational institutions. Monitoring channels recorded the movement of at least 18 drones.

People may remain trapped under the rubble. Rescuers, psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police are working at the scene. Work to clear the rubble and provide assistance to the victims is ongoing.

Unfortunately, the body of a 60-year-old woman was found under the rubble. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. The search for another woman is currently underway. There is hope that rescuers will find her alive.

17 people were injured as a result of the Russian morning attack, including a pregnant woman and a 17-year-old girl. One person was hospitalized, the others, after receiving medical care, continue their treatment as outpatients.

The Russians destroyed residential buildings in the historic center of Odessa, a kindergarten and an inclusive center. The consequences of the enemy attack are being eliminated, all authorized services are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting another crime by Russian terrorists against the civilian population of the Odessa region.
