During the massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv on June 17, 26 educational institutions in five districts of the capital were damaged – these are schools, kindergartens, lyceums and vocational schools, in which windows were broken, facades and ceilings were damaged. Currently, specialists are conducting an inspection of the buildings for further restoration.
This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondryivskyi.
As noted in the report, during the massive Russian missile attack on June 17 in Kyiv, 26 educational institutions were damaged in five districts of the city – Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Svyatoshynskyi, Solomyanskyi and Shevchenkivskyi.
In particular, among the damaged facilities – schools, kindergartens, vocational schools, art and sports lyceums. Windows were broken in the buildings, facades, doors and ceilings were damaged.
“On the instructions of the chairman Vitaliy Klitschko, the city authorities mobilized all necessary resources to begin the restoration as soon as possible. We are not stopping. Kyiv restores schools, kindergartens, dormitories every time – after each shelling. And will do it again. So that children return to their native walls from the beginning of the new school year,” emphasized Valentyn Mondryivskyi.
