As a result of the shelling of Kyiv on June 17, the office and warehouse of the Ukrainian Priority Publishing House were completely destroyed and burned.
This was reported by the president of the Ukrainian Association of Book Publishers Ihor Stepurin and the director of the publishing house Volodymyr Shovkoshytny.
On the night of June 17, the Russian occupiers carried out a massive shelling of Kyiv. As a result, the Ukrainian Priority Publishing House was destroyed: the office and warehouse, tens of thousands of books, and over one hundred and thirty titles were burned. Among them was invaluable literature about the centuries-old history of Ukraine: from the Scythian era to the present day, which shapes national consciousness.
