The Russians targeted Nikopol and the villages of the Marhanetska, Myrivska, Chervonogrygorivska and Pokrovska rural communities.
On the morning of June 21, the Russians directed an FPV drone at one of the villages of the Chervonogryhorivska community. The explosion injured six law enforcement officers who were on duty on the highway near the impact site.
After 1 p.m., the Russian army shelled Nikopol. A private home was hit, resulting in shrapnel wounds to the 63-year-old owner of the house. All victims were provided with necessary medical assistance.
Investigators recorded damage to infrastructure, private homes, outbuildings, a garage, solar panels, a car, and a gas station that was engulfed in fire.
Based on these facts, criminal proceedings have been opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).
