Russians massively attacked Sumy region, three dead, child among victims

Russians massively attacked a village in Sumy region with drones on the night of June 24. Russian shelling claimed the lives of three people, among the dead was a child.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov.

Around midnight on June 23, the Russians massively attacked a village in the Verkhnyosyrovatsk community with strike drones. Three people are known to have died – a man, a woman and an eight-year-old boy. The child’s body was pulled from under the rubble of a destroyed house.

“The strike took the lives of people from different families. They all lived on the same street. They went to sleep in their homes. But Russian drones interrupted their sleep – forever,” the head of the regional military administration reported.

Three more people were pulled out from under the rubble. One injured person is in serious condition. All were hospitalized.

“Houses were destroyed and damaged. A fire broke out after the hits. Rescuers, medics, and all services are working on the scene. People are being provided with the necessary assistance,” the Sumy regional military administration added.
