As a result of another Russian shelling in Kharkiv region, one person died.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov.
In general, the Kupyansky, Izyumsky and Chuhuyivsky districts and the city of Kharkiv were affected by the Russian shelling.
“One of the settlements of the Dvorichansky community was hit. The Russians fired on Petro-Ivanivka from multiple rocket launcher systems. Unfortunately, one person died on the spot,” said Synegubov.
According to him, 10 people were evacuated from the Kupyansky district on May 24.
“People leave when the attacks intensify. We are constantly working in this direction and emphasize that the Russians are increasingly hitting private households. For example, yesterday in Kupyansk, Russian military personnel directly hit a private house with an FPV drone. One man was injured there. After that, they struck the city with guided bombs,” said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
There are cases when people try to return home or come to pick up things or check whether the house has survived. This is dangerous, notes Oleg Synegubov.
“We had a case when a woman returned to Kupyansk with her four children. We conducted urgent search measures with the National Police and the Security Service to establish the whereabouts of this family in order to evacuate them again. We are working with the Defense Forces in every way to block such attempts by civilians, because this is, first of all, about their lives,” says Oleg Synegubov.
