During the day on June 29, Russian troops again attacked the Synelnyky and Nikopol districts of Dnipropetrovsk region. Due to Russian strikes, a fire broke out in the gymnasium building.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.
According to Lysak, the Russian army used both drones and artillery. Russian drones and shells damaged the infrastructure of Nikopol. However, according to preliminary information, there were no civilian casualties.
In Synelnyky district, several communities came under fire at once – Malomykhailivska, Novopavlivska and Mezhivska. In one of the settlements, a fire broke out in an educational institution due to shelling – a gymnasium was damaged.
On the night of June 29, the Nikopol region suffered more strikes. The Marhanetska and Pokrovska communities came under enemy fire. In the morning, the district center was also hit – the Air Defense Forces destroyed 12 Russian drones over the region.
