
On the morning of July 11, Kharkiv residents woke up to explosions – Russia attacked the city with Shahid-type suicide drones.
According to preliminary data, hits were recorded in the central part of Kharkiv, in the residential area. Several civilian facilities were damaged, in particular – a medical facility and a maternity hospital, where at the time of the attack there were women in labor with newborns.
According to the chairman of the city, Igor Terekhov, neither women in labor nor children were injured. They are planned to be evacuated to another medical facility.
It is previously known that at least three victims were injured, in particular – a 64-year-old man in the Saltivskyi district, where a fire also broke out after the attack.
Rescuers and emergency services are working at the sites of the hits. The exact number of victims and the extent of the damage are currently being established. The city remained under threat of repeated attacks for some time.
