
On the afternoon of July 13, a Russian drone attacked civilians in the Sumy community, resulting in one person being killed and another being injured.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov: The shelling occurred at around 15:40 on the road within the Stetskivskyi starostat. Two brothers were driving a motoblock in the direction of the Khotyn community when they were attacked by a Russian drone.
A 57-year-old man died as a result of the strike. His brother was injured and is currently under medical care.
Oleg Grigorov called on residents of the Sumy region to minimize movement towards the border areas.
“I call on residents of the Sumy region to minimize movement towards the border areas, because the enemy there systematically attacks civilian transport.”
