A large-scale fire occurred as a result of shelling in one of the villages of the Zaporizhzhia district on July 12, the State Emergency Service reports.
Dry vegetation burned on an area of 1,000 sq. m. Wind and hot weather contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. However, rescuers managed to localize the fire.
In total, ecosystems burned 11 times on a total area of over 4 hectares during July 12. The main cause of the fires was Russian shelling.
