One dead and 13 wounded: law enforcement officers record the consequences of Russian shelling of the Kherson region

Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson region prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes (Part 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.

According to the investigation, on July 14, 2025, the Russian army struck settlements in the Kherson region with artillery and using UAVs. The regional center and its suburbs suffered the most.

As of 17:10, law enforcement officers know that one person was killed and 13 were wounded in Kherson.

Thus, as a result of the attack using unmanned aerial vehicles, from which the Russians dropped explosives on the streets of the city, six civilians were injured.

As a result of the artillery shelling, seven people were injured, and one local resident received injuries incompatible with life.

Private and apartment buildings, social infrastructure facilities, economic buildings, and vehicles were also damaged.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all necessary measures to document war crimes committed by the Russian military.
