On July 17, the Russian army again shelled Donetsk region. The strikes fell on Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka. The number of deaths in Dobropillа from an air bomb dropped on July 16 in the city center also increased, local authorities report.
Two people were killed and seven were injured as a result of Russian shelling of Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka. This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.
On the morning of July 17, the Russian army launched two strikes on Kramatorsk, probably using a KUB-2 suicide drone. Six local residents who were on the street at the time of the attack were injured.
In addition, for more than two hours, Russian troops shelled Konstantinovka with artillery. Two people were killed, one woman was injured. The attack damaged 32 houses.
Also on July 17, the head of the regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin, reported that the death toll from the Russian air bomb strike on the center of Dobropillya on July 16 had risen to four. 27 people were injured, seven of them in serious condition. At least 13 high-rise buildings and 54 retail outlets were damaged in the city as a result of this attack.
“The authorities and all responsible services are working at the site of the attack. The rubble is being cleared: we hope that there will be no more victims, because at the time of the attack the shopping center was already closed,” Filashkin said.
