On July 17, the Russian army struck the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region with an FPV drone. Civilians died as a result of the attack.
This was reported by the press secretary of the Donetsk region prosecutor’s office, Anastasia Medvedeva.
She said that the strike was carried out at approximately 16:30. Two civilians were killed in the Russian attack. A 70-year-old woman was also injured – she received multiple shrapnel wounds and a mine-explosive injury.
In addition, on the morning of July 17, Russian troops shelled Myrnograd with artillery. As a result, a 63-year-old man was injured, he was diagnosed with a mine-explosive injury and a fracture.
The prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings on the facts of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
