On the night of August 5, the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, experienced the most massive attack by the Russians since the beginning of the war.
Critical infrastructure, high-rise buildings, and the private sector were damaged. There are wounded, including two children. Rescuers, medics, and emergency services are working.
This was reported by chairman Serhiy Zelenskyі: “We are restoring the water supply. Part of the city remains without electricity, in particular Avylovka, as well as the Katerynivskyi starostynskyi district. I ask residents to report any damage. There are changes in transport connections.”
The regional State Emergency Service reported that several fires broke out as a result of a massive nighttime UAV attack on the city of Lozova. 10 people were injured, including two children, and one man died.
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that the Russian attack damaged the railway station and other infrastructure facilities. Most people managed to take shelter, but there were casualties. The duty mechanic of one of the units died, and four more railway workers were injured.
All victims are being provided with necessary medical assistance.
