Hits and power outages: Russians massively attacked Poltava region

On the night of August 19, Russian troops shelled two districts of Poltava region with drones and missiles. As a result of the landings and falling debris, large-scale power outages occurred.

This was reported by the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut.

According to him, as a result of the hits and falling debris in the Kremenchuk and Lubny districts, administrative buildings of local energy sector enterprises were damaged.

“In the Lubny district, 1,471 household and 119 legal subscribers were left without power as a result of the attack. Units of the State Emergency Service and the energy sector are working to overcome the consequences of the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” Kohut noted.

Initially, the districts of Lubny and Kremenchuk were attacked by strike drones. In particular, at least 30 explosions thundered in Lubny.

At 03:30, the Russian Federation struck Kremenchuk with Iskander-M ballistic missiles.

Later, Tu-95 strategic bombers launched a group of cruise missiles over the Kremenchuk region. At around 05:25, a series of powerful explosions were heard in the city.
