Consequences of shelling of Sumy region per day: injured man, destroyed houses and infrastructure

On August 22, Russian troops shelled 27 settlements of Sumy region. 124 strikes were recorded, including using guided bombs, FPV drones and UAVs.

Sumy, Shostka and Konotop districts were hit the most. A 63-year-old man was injured, 8 apartment buildings and 4 private houses, a utility room, garages, a culture house, a shop, a tractor, a car were destroyed, and a service station was completely destroyed.

In addition, on the night of August 22, the Russians attacked the city of Vorozhba in Sumy district with drones. As a result of the strikes, two two-story apartment buildings, three private households and a garage were damaged.

Investigative and operational groups of the police and explosives technicians worked on the ground. Criminal proceedings were initiated for each fact.
