On the night of August 26, Russian troops attacked the village of Tokary in the Bezdrytsky community near the city of Sumy.
A 63-year-old woman was injured in the attack and was provided with medical assistance on the spot.
According to Suspilny, there were two strikes. One of them completely destroyed the house of local resident Natalia Myronenko. She said that during the second explosion she was covered in debris and, despite being injured, she managed to get out.
According to the village head Halyna Shakleyna, a total of eight houses were damaged in Tokary, one of which was completely destroyed. Outbuildings and agricultural machinery were also damaged.
A disaster relief headquarters is working on site, and volunteers are helping local residents repair damaged housing.
