Russian strike on civilian tent camp in Sumy region: woman killed, 7 people injured

On the evening of September 6, Russian troops attacked a civilian tent camp in the suburbs of the Putyvl community in the Sumy region.

This was reported by the press center of the Sumy regional military administration.

As noted, the Russians turned a peaceful holiday into a tragedy.

“A 51-year-old woman died from shrapnel wounds – even before the arrival of doctors. Sincere condolences to her family,” the message says.

According to the regional military administration, 7 people were injured, including an 8-year-old boy and his parents. All were hospitalized.

“The injured are receiving medical assistance, their condition is initially moderate,” the regional military administration specified.
