In Kyiv region, fire was extinguished for more than 10 hours at Epicenter warehouses hit by Russian drone

In Kyiv region, rescuers extinguished a fire on 17 thousand sq. m after a Russian drone hit warehouses on the territory of the Epicenter logistics center.

The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports this: “It took rescuers more than 10 hours to extinguish the fire after a Russian drone hit the Kyiv region. To understand the scale of the fire, it is like 2.5 football fields engulfed in fire. The work of rescuers was complicated by the significant area and the filled warehouses of the hypermarket – heavy smoke spread. In addition, there are other buildings nearby that had to be protected from fire.”

About 400 rescuers, more than 100 pieces of equipment, two helicopters, a fire train and four firefighting vehicles were involved in the liquidation.
