Nikopol district
The Nikopol region once again found itself under daily strikes by the Russian army. The cities of Nikopol and Marhanets, the villages of Myrivska, Marhanetska, Chervonogryhorivska and Pokrovska rural communities were subjected to Russian shelling. Law enforcement officers registered almost eighty reports of the destruction of civilian infrastructure facilities.
The Russian military used FPV drones and heavy artillery in the area. Infrastructure, a five-story building, a supermarket, a shop, a post office, vehicles, outbuildings and private homes were damaged – one was engulfed in fire. Roofs and walls were damaged, glass on windows and balconies was broken.
Synelnykyі district
As a result of the shelling by FPV drones, KAB and UAVs of the Mezhivska, Pokrovska and Malomykhailivska communities of Synelnyky district, private houses, summer kitchens, a garage and an agricultural enterprise were damaged.
Dniprovskyі district
On September 17, fires broke out in the Dnipro district due to the shelling by UAVs. They were extinguished by rescuers.
Kryvyi Rih district
The Russians also targeted the Zelenodolska community, which is in Kryvyi Rih, with an FPV drone.
Investigators from the Ukrainian police worked at the sites of Russian strikes. Based on the collected materials, criminal proceedings were opened under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
