As a result of the night shelling of Kherson, the puppet theater and the printing house were damaged

During the night shelling of Kherson, Russian troops hit the Academic Regional Puppet Theater and the city printing house. This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko.

“Tonight, as a result of Russian shelling, the Kherson Academic Regional Puppet Theater and the city printing house were hit. Russia must and will be held accountable. It destroys everything it cannot build on its territory – culture, democracy, development,” Tkachenko wrote.

How the occupiers are robbing the farmers of the Kherson region

As of February 24, 2022 (the beginning of the war), the price of flour from Kherson Oblast producers “Rubanivskyi BMK”, “Velykolpetyskyi BMK”, “Aris”, “Miroshnyk” ranged from UAH 14 to 16/kg. Today, only “Velikolepetyskiy BMK” is operating, which sells flour of the highest grade at the price of UAH 1,035/50 kg, i.e. UAH 20.70/kg.

Now in Nova Kakhovka, flour packaging of 2 kg in a paper bag with a cost of 62 hryvnias has appeared. It is imported from Crimea. in the summer it was cheaper: 1 kg of this flour was already sold by our resellers (they brought it from Crimea on their own) for 19 hryvnias/kg…

Russians exported wheat from the Kherson region to Crimea at a cost of up to UAH 2,000/ton, or UAH 2/kg. That is, seizing the moment, the “liberators” cynically and brazenly rob our farmers, passing off the fruits of their labor as their own. That is why the ruble is so actively forcibly introduced in the occupied Kherson region.

Currently, the Rubanivskyi BMK is not working, because the manpower and equipment of the “liberators” are located on its territory.

By the way, Mayachok market in Nova Kakhovka continues to sell flour for hryvnias. Crimean-made flour (the wholesale store is located opposite Mayachka) is also sold for hryvnias.

This is how the “liberators” are robbing Ukraine. As a rule, all occupiers do this: the war is waged for the sake of plunder.

In the occupied part of the Kherson region, the invaders cut off Ukrainian communications and TV channels

In the Kherson region, in addition to stopping the broadcasting of all Ukrainian TV channels, the invaders made mobile communications available only to Russian operators.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on January 17.

According to available information, the Russian occupiers are also intensifying search efforts for their deserters in the temporarily occupied territories. Under the pretext of searching for Ukrainian saboteurs, the invaders carry out raids on populated areas of the Kherson region.

The bodies of three civilians were found in the village of Posad Pokrovske in the Kherson region

The bodies of three civilians who died during enemy shelling were found in the village of Posad Pokrovske in the Kherson region. This is reported by the prosecutor’s office of the region.

The bodies of three civilians were exhumed and examined. It was established that the bodies belong to three residents of the village. Posad Pokrovske, among whom there is one woman.

People died on different days, but the circumstances were the same – enemy shells hit residential buildings or exploded near them, as a result of which residents received life-threatening injuries.

People were buried on the grounds of their homes. Now their body has been sent for a forensic medical examination.

In total, 59 bodies of civilians killed by enemy shelling or other criminal acts of Russian troops were exhumed in Kherson region.

It should be noted that according to the United Nations (UN), since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, more than 7,000 civilians have been killed, and another 11,327 have been injured.

Also, according to the data, since the beginning of 2023, 104 cases of death and 284 cases of injury were recorded.

Russian troops have increased the number of roadblocks and strengthened filtering in the occupied Kherson region – deputy

In the left-bank Kherson region, which is still under Russian occupation, the number of roadblocks has increased, Kherson regional council deputy Serhii Khlan reported.

“For example, there were two roadblocks at a distance of about 30 km recently, we are talking about Kakhovka, Kakhovsky district. Today there are already six such checkpoints. And accordingly, the presence of the military at each checkpoint increased. There is also an increase in the presence of the military in the occupied cities – Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka,” Khlan says.

He connects this with the increasing pressure of the Russian Federation on the residents of the occupied Kherson Region.

“There is an increase in the number of FSB workers to put pressure on the people who remained in the occupation. Now this pressure has intensified quite significantly and it is noted that the FSB has started another series of its filtering measures, with a new wave, with new brutality. Houses are being visited, searches and arrests are taking place,” the deputy claims.

Given the hostilities and Russia’s occupation of the eastern part of Ukraine, the editors cannot obtain official confirmation of some of the statements made or independently verify them.

The Ukrainian military de-occupied the right-bank part of the Kherson region during the summer-autumn of 2022. The regional center was released on November 11. However, the left bank of the Kherson region is still under the control of the Russian occupiers.

The UN said most of the recorded civilian casualties were caused by the use of wide-area explosive weapons, including heavy artillery, rocket launchers, rockets and airstrikes.

Local collaborators gave the village of Stara Zbur’ivka in the Kherson region to the Russians for looting

The so-called “officials” from the Russian-controlled “authorities” of the village of Stara Zburyivka, located in the occupied part of the Kherson region, escaped from the settlement back in November 2022, and now drunken Russian soldiers come to the settlement from time to time to commit robberies.

The local collaborators really wanted to “evacuate” to Crimea occupied by Russia or to the territory of the Russian Federation. But only a few small bipods succeeded. The same traitors who received “positions” in the local occupation authorities are forced to stay in the Kherson region. The occupiers simply did not let them out of the region.

According to local residents, now the Russian village head Alyona Rotonos and other “officials” spend the vast majority of their time in Skadovsk, and they come to the village about once a week. For distribution of Russian pensions and social benefits, solving other issues.

Collaborators do not want to stay in the village for a long time, because they are hated there. Yes, recently a cemetery wreath was hung on the gate of Alyona Rotonos. The Russians came to investigate the incident, but they never found out who did it.

According to the locals, recently the occupiers have been wreaking total terror in Staraya Zburyivka. If earlier they came to rob and settle in the houses of those people who were able to leave for safe territory, now they are robbing everyone in a row.

“Armed Russians can come at three in the morning and demand gold, money, and a car from frightened people. Garage locks are broken, cars are taken away. And they constantly rush into people drunk and shoot incessantly. Mostly in the air, but people are afraid that they can be shot at any minute. Also, the Russians dug a lot of their trenches on the coast of the estuary, which immediately filled with water, and everything around them was mined. And the terror against local residents only intensified. Russians see a “spy” in each of them, they don’t trust anyone,” the residents of Staraya Zburivka added.

According to local estimates, about a third of the 2,500 residents of the village now remain, all others have left.

The attempt of the occupiers to open educational institutions in the village ended with a big crash. Director of the Starozburiyiv Special School of the Kherson Regional Council Andriets Nataliya Georgievna voluntarily agreed to work for the occupiers. She helped the Russians register the institution in their registers under the name “Starozburyevskaya special school of the Holopristan municipal district”. Instead, the Russians appointed Butenko Raisa Petrivna as the “principal” of the local secondary school. And the institution itself was “renamed” to “Starozburyevsk school of the Holoprystan municipal district.”

The occupiers were unable to fully form teaching teams or recruit students. Therefore, both “schools” worked only for a month.

In general, the occupiers have failed miserably in the field of education. As of the end of September 2022, the occupiers managed to open only three schools out of the fourteen schools of the Holoprystan community of the Skadovsky district: Lyceums No. 1 and No. 2 in Holia Prystan and Novozburiyiv Lyceum.

In the Holoprystan community, the Russian military kidnapped a family and blew up their house

Russian invaders continue to commit brutal crimes on the left bank of the Kherson region. So, in the temporarily occupied Holoprystan community, they kidnapped five members of one family. After that, the occupiers blew up the family’s house. Currently, the whereabouts of the people remain unknown.

In total, over the past day, the police of the Kherson region opened 25 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes committed by the Russian military. Among them is the murder of a 38-year-old resident of the Solontsi village of the temporarily occupied Oleshkiv community. It is known beforehand that the deceased has a gunshot wound to the head. His body was found in a pond.

But a message came from the temporarily occupied Kakhovsky district that in one of the villages Russian invaders stole a Volkswagen Golf car from a local resident. In addition, during the commission of the crime, they beat the owner of the car.

In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, the Russian invaders are accelerating the pace of the so-called “evacuation” of the local population. Currently, people are being taken out and placed in the Voronezh, Sverdlovsk, Kursk, Rostov regions and the Krasnodar region.
