
On the afternoon of September 23, Russian troops carried out five strikes with Shahed drones on Zaporizhzhia. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov.
“12 people sought medical help,” he wrote at 16:23.
11 minutes earlier, Fedorov informed that the air alert in Zaporizhzhia lasted for more than six hours.
“Russian troops attacked the city with drones (preliminarily – Shahed type). The strikes were carried out on the industrial zone, damaged warehouses and vehicles,” the regional police reported at 17:03.
In 20 minutes, Russian troops carried out five UAV strikes on Zaporizhzhia, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine specified.
“It is preliminary known that a 45-year-old man was killed, five more people were injured,” the report says. “One of the enemy strikes hit a local enterprise. After the shelling, a fire broke out, which has already been extinguished by rescuers.”
The Russians periodically carry out air strikes on Zaporizhzhia.
On the night of September 22, the Russians also struck Zaporizhzhia with 10 aerial bombs. One of the private houses was completely destroyed. Three people died as a result of the shelling of the city. Public media wrote that one of the bombs did not explode.
On the night of September 23, the Russians struck the civilian infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia with six aerial bombs. One person died.
