Explosions in Sumy: Russians attacked an enterprise, a residential area and a communal facility

On September 25, a series of explosions was recorded in the city of Sumy, the number of which reached four. Acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar reported on the incident.

“According to preliminary information, these were strikes by Russian Italmas drones. Two of them hit the territory of a private enterprise. One hit the residential area, where 27 windows were previously broken. Another landing occurred near the communal enterprise of the Sumy City Council,” he noted.

According to the official, no victims were reported, but an elderly woman with an acute stress reaction asked for help – she was provided with assistance on the spot. All relevant services are working at the sites of the hits, eliminating the consequences of the attack.

This is not the first shelling of the Sumy community in recent days. Thus, on the night of September 22, Russian troops launched strikes on the territory of the community: two shells hit industrial facilities, another one hit an educational institution. One person was previously injured then.

Strikes on civilian and industrial facilities in the border regions of Ukraine remain systematic, and the explosions in Sumy and Chernihiv only confirm the growing threats to the local population.
