Almost six hectares of forest damaged in Cherkasy region due to falling rocket fragments

As a result of falling rocket fragments, coniferous stands in the Chornyavskyі and Horodyshchenskyі forestry of the Chyhyrynskyі forestry district caught fire.

The area of ​​the damaged forest is 5.78 hectares. “Firefighting was complicated by the presence of explosive debris in the territory. 31 employees of the state forest protection branch, six fire trucks and a tractor with a soil gun were involved in the liquidation of both fires. They worked together with the State Emergency Service,” the post says.

Coniferous stands burned in the Chornyavskyі and Horodyshchenskyі forestry districts.

Brigades are on duty in the fields to prevent re-ignition. Relevant services are also working to dispose of the debris.

Five Russian missiles and 15 UAVs were neutralized over Cherkasy region on the night of September 28. Three more enemy drones were destroyed in the morning.
