Russians attacked Ivano-Frankivsk region: critical infrastructure targets were targeted

On the night and morning of October 5, the Russian army launched another massive strike on Ukraine, directing most of the enemy targets to the western regions.

The air alert in Ivano-Frankivsk region began at 4:04 and lasted until 8:42. The main target of the attack was critical infrastructure.

The first explosions were heard in the city of Burshtyn at 5:02, after the Air Force warned of the approach of the “shaheeds”. Later, at least thirteen more series of repeated explosions were heard. Series of explosions also sounded in Ivano-Frankivsk at 6:27 and 6:58.

The Tysmenytsia City Council confirmed damage to residential buildings in the community. Previously, no one among the people was injured.

The Russians launched a large-scale combined strike using hundreds of UAVs, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles, against energy infrastructure in Ukraine.
