On October 6, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia again, this time with guided bombs. Powerful explosions occurred at about 10 a.m. and were heard in several areas of the city at once.
According to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a 20-year-old girl was injured as a result of the shelling. City infrastructure facilities were also damaged. Currently, data on other possible victims is being clarified.
The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the commission of a war crime – under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Region.
The Khortytskyi district of the city was affected by the strike – part of the roadway was destroyed and the territory of the enterprise was damaged.
A strong fire broke out, which was seen from other areas.
