Two people died in a Russian drone attack in Kherson, another woman was injured

According to the investigation, on the morning of October 8, 2025, Russian military personnel attacked a civilian car in Kherson with people inside.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact of a war crime that led to the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Two civilians died as a result of the attack – a 62-year-old woman and a man of about 65 years old.

In addition, a 55-year-old woman was injured and taken to the hospital with bodily injuries, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, continue to record the consequences of war crimes committed by Russian military personnel.
