On October 8, Russian troops attacked Sumy with kamikaze drones. One of the drones hit the roof of a residential high-rise building.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy city military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, and acting chairman Artem Kobzar.
According to Kryvosheyenko, the first strike was recorded in the Kovpakiv district of the city: a fire broke out in a non-residential building and several private houses were damaged. There were no preliminary casualties.
The second strike occurred in the Zarichny district – the drone hit the roof of a residential high-rise building, several windows were damaged.
Kobzar specified that a total of three drone strikes were recorded in the city. According to preliminary data, there are no victims or injuries.
