On the evening of October 8, Russian troops carried out a massive strike with six strike drones on the village of Popivka in the Novgorod-Siverskyi community.
This was reported by the head of the Novgorod-Siverskyi district military administration, Alexander Seliverstov.
As a result of the Russian attack, residential buildings, outbuildings and transport of local residents were damaged. Several fires broke out.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
On October 8, Russian troops carried out 25 attacks on the Chernihiv region, damaging residential buildings, a kindergarten, a shop, and freight trains, and affecting 20 settlements. Rescuers extinguished the fires, with no fatalities or injuries.
