Deadly attack on the highway: a couple died in a Russian drone strike in Zaporizhzhia

In the Polohivskyi district of the Zaporizhzhia region, a Russian suicide drone attacked a civilian car, killing a couple. Rescuers had to extract the bodies of the deceased from the damaged car.

This is stated in a message on the website of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“The enemy attacked a civilian car in one of the settlements of the Polohivskyi district. A 53-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman were inside,” rescuers reported.

The couple died on the spot as a result of the strike. “Their bodies were extracted from the damaged car by rescuers,” the department added.
