The Russians attacked the region with drones and artillery – they hit industrial facilities and residential buildings.
On the night of October 17, Russian troops again attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with suicide drones. As a result of the strikes, two women were injured, and in Kryvyi Rih, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged.
This was reported by the acting head of the regional military administration, Vladislav Gaivonenko.
According to him, the air defense forces destroyed 22 drones, but some hits still occurred. In Kryvyi Rih, a fire broke out on the territory of an industrial enterprise due to the attack, and the city’s power grid was also damaged.
In addition, the Nikopol region came under artillery and drone shelling – Nikopol and the Pokrovska community were hit. Two women were injured there and will be treated as outpatients. Four private homes, three apartment buildings, and several cars were destroyed.
