On the night of October 16, the Russian army launched a massive strike on Ukraine. The State Emergency Service reported on the consequences of the shelling on the Poltava region.
After the strikes from the Russian side, fires broke out. Rescuers extinguished the fire.
The Russians are targeting the energy infrastructure in the Poltava region. Due to falling debris, oil and gas industry facilities in the region were damaged.
“153 rescuers and 36 units of State Emergency Service equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the strike,” emergency responders emphasized.
