
A Russian drone hit a multi-storey building in the Zarechny district of Sumy. A 44-year-old woman was injured as a result of the attack.
This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov.
According to the acting mayor of the city, Artem Kobzar, today at about 14:20 a Russian Italmas type UAV hit the roof of a multi-storey residential building in the Zarechny district of Sumy. Rescuers extinguished the fire. The destruction affected only the roof, but the examination of the house is still ongoing.
Medics provided assistance to a 44-year-old woman who had an acute stress reaction, she was near the scene of the impact. Now her life is not in danger.
“The Russians again targeted the homes of civilians. In the high-rise building, only the roof was damaged after the attack. But the examination is ongoing,” Grigorov wrote.
On October 25, the Russians carried out 64 attacks on 14 border communities in Sumy region. Residential buildings (private and multi-apartment), an administrative building, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
