Damaged houses and apartments: consequences of Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia region on October 26

The Russians launched 701 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region from aircraft, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and drones on October 26.

This was reported by the National Police of Zaporizhzhia region.

24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia, Vasylivka and Polohivka districts were under fire yesterday. As a result of Russian strikes, damage was recorded to economic structures, cars, houses and apartments of civilians. In total, law enforcement officers recorded 20 reports of destruction.

Unfortunately, as a result of an airstrike on October 26 in the Polohivskyi district, a 63-year-old man died. In addition, a 53-year-old local resident was injured.

Based on all the facts of Russian armed aggression, law enforcement officers opened proceedings under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 438 “War Crimes” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
